ABOUT MARCO...
Marco was born to Italian immigrants in the town he still calls home: Vancouver BC, Canada. Since obtaining his BFA from SFU in 1997 and his teaching degree in 1998, Marco has performed internationally on stage, screen, radio and in the classroom. He works steadily as a voice actor, both dubbing and providing original voice for countless cartoon characters and appearing in several radio advertisements. Most recently, he voiced the villainous Max Maximus in Super Dinosaur. Some favourite stage credits include Theatre Replacement's critically acclaimed Bio Boxes, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast (WCT), Prior in Angels in America, Judas in Corpus Christi (both Hoarse Raven), Tony in Shear Madness (Arts Club), the Emcee in Cabaret (DSR) and his work with Boca del Lupo in their summer roving shows. Marco is a founding member of BellaLuna Productions, Western Canada's only Italian Theatre company, with which he most recently co-created and performed Fresco. His first play, Two Sisters, was first produced in 2006, and Marco has had several opportunities to perform pieces of his one-man shows Mamma and The Second Coming. Outside of his time in the school system, Marco has also taught numerous workshops in Commedia Dell'Arte, Physical Theatre, Mask and Acting for Film and Television. He has also served as an adjudicator for district drama festivals, as an artist in residence and as a consultant on several productions.
